We collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, church name, and payment information when you create an account. We also collect sermon audio files you upload for processing.

We automatically collect certain technical information when you visit our website, including anonymized usage data through Vercel Web Analytics. This data does not use cookies and does not personally identify you.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide the Wordwell service, including transcribing your sermons, generating content outputs, and producing preaching analytics. Specifically:

Account information is used to manage your subscription and communicate with you about the service. Sermon audio files are processed to generate transcripts, sermon notes, study guides, devotionals, family conversation starters, and preaching analytics. Payment information is processed securely through Stripe and is not stored on our servers. Anonymized website analytics help us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it.

Your Sermon Content

Your sermons are yours. We process your audio files solely to provide the services you've requested. We do not sell, share, or use your sermon content for any purpose other than delivering your Wordwell outputs. We do not use your sermon content to train AI models. Your theological voice, your illustrations, and your teaching remain your intellectual property.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Sermon audio files and generated content are stored securely using encrypted connections. Access to your data is restricted to authenticated users on your account.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Wordwell:

Supabase for database and authentication. Stripe for payment processing. Vercel for website hosting and anonymized analytics. OpenAI Whisper for audio transcription. Anthropic Claude for content generation and analysis.

Each of these providers maintains their own privacy policies and security practices. We select providers that meet industry standards for data protection.

Data Retention

We retain your account information and sermon data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, you may request deletion of your data by contacting us. We will delete your sermon audio files, generated content, and analytics data within 30 days of a deletion request.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may export your sermon data at any time through your account. You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at micheal@wordwellapp.com.

Children's Privacy

Wordwell is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy
